Dealer Day 2012 was Tuesday March 20th in Sacra- mento. Over 1,500 bills were introduced in the Cali- fornia Legislature, many of which were detrimental to our interests: an insurance industry bill to legiti- mize non-OEM crash parts; a bill to eliminate the NewMotor Vehicle Board; a bill sponsored by CarFax to gut the NMVTIS bill we sponsored last year; two bills that would require price labeling by dealers on all used cars; three bills to regulate buy-here-pay- here dealerships; several bills that would S A C R A M E N T O C A 12
