Auto Show experienced substantial growth across the board in 2011, including Press Days’ attendance, media coverage and public attendance. Media was out in force as never before, with Press Days growth fueled by a more than 50 percent jump in international media and a 25 percent growth in lifestyle, technology and general consumer media. While traditional automotive media also came in larger numbers than ever before (and represents the largest percentage of media in attendance), new categories of media and more international journalists representing 53 countries really contributed to the increase. 7
