29 FALL 2014 On September 4th, the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association and the Southland Motor Car Dealers Associa- tion hosted a training seminar for dealership receptionists and cashiers. Scott Williams of World Wide Phonepops.com led the training at Cerritos College in a morning and afternoon session with over 50 attendees. On September 16, 2014 at the Hilton Pasadena, the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association (GLANCDA), and the Southland Motor Car Dealers Association (SMCDA) cohosted the 2nd annual Digital Dealer Workshop Pasadena. Over 100 attendees got to interact with industry thought leaders to learn the latest skills and best practices in a number of areas critical to dealership operations includ- ing digital marketing, social media, new and pre-owned sales, data and analytics, reputation management and customer loyalty.
