6 www.glancda.org LA Auto Show Will Feature 30 World Debuts November 18-20, 2014 The Los Angeles Auto Show will host 30 world debuts this year during Press & Trade Days, making for a total of 60 vehicle debuts overall, which will be unveiled in front of a global audience at the Los Angeles Convention Center on November 18-20. World debuts will include three models from Audi, three from Mercedes Benz, several from Porsch, three from Mazda, two from BMW, two from Chevrolet, and one from Scion. Cadillac has already announced its high- performance 2015 ATS-V, and Chrysler will introduce its completely refreshed 300 and 300C models. Models from Acura, Lexus, Toyota, Volkswagen, and a few other brands still keeping their plans quiet, will round out the list of global introductions. In addition to the roster of global premieres, a variety of North American debuts will be unveiled in Los Angeles, including models from Audi, Mercedes Benz, Fiat, Infiniti and Nissan. Other North American debuts include Landrover’s all-new 2015 Discovery Sport crossover, MINI’s hardtop four-door and the Superleggera Vision concept, Kia’s redesigned Sorrento, BMW’s convertible versions of the 228i and M235i, and Mitsubishi’s XR-PHEV concept vehicle. Volvo is making a dramatic statement by re-launching its entire brand with the introduction of the second generation XC90, the company’s first model in four years. They will also premiere their progressive autopilot technology with the “Drive Me” autonomous vehicle on the Connected Car Expo (CCE) show f loor on November 18. Like last year, the Connected Car Expo will take place in conjunction with Press & Trade Days.
