For the top 15 selling brands in the county, each brand’s share of the U.S. market is mul- tiplied by registrations in the county during the first half of 2015. This yields a “target” for the state mar- ket. Target registrations are subtracted from ac- tual registrations to derive the measurement of sales performance.
