4 Issue 1 2020 President’s MESSAGE W e wanted to share the story of the Sullivan Family, and hope you enjoyed following their history here in Los Angeles. The Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association and its members are an integral part of the history and growth of the re- tail automotive industry. Together we are currently facing an unprecedented event that has put the brakes on the global economy. We understand from the front lines what this looks like, and what it means for all of our dealer members. We share the common goal of doing our part in fighting this pandemic, and ultimately re- turning to a day where our families are safe to go about their lives as they choose. The association is working with various local, state and federal agencies to navigate some of the challenges that are new to our industry. You will find some articles in this publication that are designed to help answer some of the many questions we all have. The collective voice of the new car dealers will be critical to taking steps forward at the various appropriate times.
